Inspirational messages to be found around Forest City
“I feel that my time spent has been very rewarding in many different ways, but when it comes to a career, I typically ask myself, ‘What will I be when I grow up?’” Amidst the pressures of defining a career for herself and the race to success, more important questions have begun to emerge for the young lady, such as “What will I contribute?” and “What kind of leader do I want to become?” Large cardboard signs can be found throughout Forest City with short quotes written in spray paint that have begun the “Change your thinking” project. “These are meant to provoke inspiration. This project was one I thought of in hopes of inspiring others. This will be one of the many projects I hope to create in my local community to make a difference,” she noted. “I believe that everyone can use inspiration in their lives,” she added. Here are a few quotes posted in town:
“These are quotes I’ve found that related to me and made me think of my life experiences, and I hope that’s what they do for you,” she concluded. “The type of leadership that I am striving to achieve is different from ambition, or simply from achieving goals, it involves inspiring, motivating and creating opportunities for others.” Ms. Zigon would like to give special thanks to her family and friends, teachers and her colleagues at Primeco Education and ASPIRE. She would also like to thank all the Bravehearts that are or have been enrolled in the leadership development program for inspiring her to inspire others. |
